Registration is over and it's time to party! Or at least relax among friends and colleagues. Come celebrate our 2007 achievements and those to come in 2008. We will have delectable hot and cold appetizers, spirits, and lots of door prizes and trivia game prizes. Special recognitions and special guests are also anticipated. The GTAAN soiree starts at 4:00pm, but feel to drop in anytime until 6:00pm.

Public Speaking

Afraid of spiders and snakes? No? Students with registration issues? No? Public speaking? Yes? If so, come to our Public Speaking session this month. Our guest will be Deborah Covin Wilson, Director of Career Development with the Office of Organizational Development. Her presentation will be fun, entertaining and interactive, and will help you gain confidence when talking before groups. Don't be bashful, conquer your fear! Coaching
SCC, Piedmont Room
"Student coaching" or "student success coaching" focuses on improving the overall learning experience for the student, instills discipline in the student, and develops a set of skills that will serve an individual throughout career and life. It is another strategy for working with young people and providing them with the knowledge and opportunities to fully develop themselves. We’ll talk about coaching strategies you can use within the advising relationship. This months technology report will feature Meeting Wizard.
