NACADA logo

NACADA is the NATIONAL ACADEMIC ADVISING ASSOCIATION , which promotes and supports quality academic advising in institutions of higher education to enhance the educational development of students. NACADA provides a forum for discussion, debate, and the exchange of ideas pertaining to academic advising through numerous activities and publications. NACADA also serves as an advocate for effective academic advising by providing a Consultants Bureau, an Awards Program, and funding for Research related to academic advising.

For many years GTAAN members have been active participants in GTAAN- presenting at national and regional conferences, serving on committees, receiving recognition for achievement in advisement and attending conferences and retreats. GTAAN encourages all advisors to join NACADA and take full advantage of their resources and support system for the field of Academic Advisement.

Regional News:
Georgia Tech is part of the Southeast Region 4.
